Welcome, Laura and Lawrence, to your functional, energy-efficient, purposefully designed home where you can build a lifestyle around living off the land.

We’ve taken it upon ourselves to evolve the design to better meet your functional needs.

We hope these renderings will help to portray the architectural warmth and the sublime spatial qualities of the place you’ll be able to call home.

Morison Bush House is a high-performance, sustainable house that responds to the sun and views of this Bidwills Cutting Road site.

‘Functional, energy-efficient architecture designed around you and your site’

Welcome to the hallway, where we've devised a recessed bench seat near the front door with space to hang your coats. The bathroom is conveniently accessed off the hallway, with natural light drawing you down to the study and around to the spare bedrooms. Each bedroom has inbuilt wardrobes, and a hallway linen cupboard provides abundant storage.

Guest bathroom

A dedicated scullery, laundry and utility room where you can preserve fresh produce from the garden with ease, with direct access to the veggie patch. A full-length bench, with integrated underbench washer and dryer will enable ample room for all these tasks. Inbuilt and freestanding storage provides plenty of space for food, supplies and services.

The grand open-plan living space is the beating heart of this home. Complete with soaring ceilings, a colourful kitchen and Pyroclassic woodburner, this is the perfect place for entertaining guests or relaxing in front of the fire. Generous bifold doors on either side provide sublime indoor-outdoor flow - south to the veggie patch and north to the sheltered patio.
