  • Simply create an account, log in and begin designing by dragging room components into the middle of your screen and chaining them together. To ensure your design can be built with the Flexi system, try arranging the rooms in a line with the hallway running down one side - this forms a pavilion. Multiple pavilions can be connected with a link module component, which also allows you to build pavilions parallel or perpendicular to one another!

  • Flexi House is designed to be a real home solution. We're not a tiny home or a compromise to traditional housing in any way. In fact we're quite the opposite! Our soaring cathedral ceiling design extends throughout the house, making all rooms feel grand and spacious. Our system can create whatever space you need, from 80m2 to 300m2 and beyond. Our gabled pavilions are 6m internally across the face, by however many rooms you choose to add on! Standard room sizes come in 1.8m, 2.4m, 3.0m, 3.6m, 4.8m, 6.0m, and 7.2m modules.

  • Contrary to what some believe, not having eaves and soffits doesn't mean that a house will leak, in fact, with our continuous Weather Resistive Barrier, this risk is reduced. Read more here. Our low-E glazing reduces solar heat gain and optional window shutters and eyebrows create solar shading during summer.

  • Flexi is on the hunt for early adopter clients and investors that align with our values, who support innovation and who are looking to do things differently. If you think this is you, please email us for further information.

  • In its current iteration, Flexi House is a single-storey dwelling. We are however developing a multi-storey and medium-density system - watch this space!

  • Flexi House is designed to have rooms added or removed, deconstructed and redeployed. A concrete slab makes this difficult to achieve and significantly slows down construction time. Concrete is also a major contributor to the carbon footprint of the construction industry, which is why we've opted for a timber subfloor that has a much higher R-Value and is also more sustainable! • Yes! We have designed our system to Very High Wind Zone, however we are a Specific Engineering Design (SED) and capable of any wind, snow, earthquake and coastal zones!

  • Yes, absolutely - we look after the design and consent process for you.

  • In short, yes! Flexi House being a single-storey dwelling on timber piles is best suited to relatively flat sites or those that can be excavated. If your site is steep, it is still possible, but please be advised that earthworks and foundation engineering to create a suitable building platform will need to be carried out. It is also critical that you have good site access so the Flexi House panels can be delivered and assembled.

  • Our prefinished plywood linings remove plastering and painting from the onsite process, helping to speed up the interior fit-out. Additionally, plywood has less embodied carbon than plasterboard, is more durable, and we love the feeling of warmth it creates! You can however, opt for plasterboard if you really want it.
