Materials from nature.
The path to Net Carbon Zero construction is built from natural, renewable and raw materials.
Sustainable, plant-based materials that absorb carbon while growing ensure your Flexi House is inherently carbon neutral without purchasing offsets.
Putting people first.
We care about the health and well-being of Aotearoa.
You can breathe easy knowing that your home is constructed from naturally produced materials that are bacteriostatic, asthmas and allergy approved, and warm to touch.
Circular economy.
We use renewable natural resources, mitigate waste, and design products to be reused over and over again.
When a Flexi has served its purpose, the entire house can be dismantled and redeployed and reused for a new Flexi, or each component can be completely deconstructed and sustainably recycled.
Our materials.
To create a healthy and sustainable home we specify great natural and renewable materials.

High Performance.
A high-performance home is a healthy home that uses less energy and reduces the carbon footprint and environmental impact. Your Flexi will be warm, dry and comfortable all year round.
R4.0 Insulation in Floor, Walls, and Roof
Pro Clima Intello - Vapour Barrier
PVC or Thermally Broken Windows and Doors
Lunos - Mechanical Heat Recovery Ventilation and Extraction
Mitsubishi - Heat Pump
Low Energy LED Lighting
Reduced non-renewables.
We have mitigated a large amount of non-renewable materials in our builds.
Where these materials are necessary, we have ensured we can reuse or recycle them as much as possible at end of life:
Steel & Roofing Iron
Joinery & Glass
The environmental impact of these materials is offset through the use of carbon sequestering timber and plant-based products, which make up such a large majority of our building materials, as we aim for net carbon negative construction.
